Club stalwart and 1st team physio Marcus 'Eric' Brown will be sidelined until the end of the season due to an injury sustained at work. Falling of the back of a lorry, Eric badly twisted his back and has been in agony ever since. A number of trips to the Nuffield by ambulance has confirmed that Eric has prolapsed a disc (again) and will need surgery to correct the problem and relieve the pain. Club Chairman Barry Griffiths said, "It has taken a little while for the doctors to pinpoint the problem exactly and hence this announcement has been delayed, but now that have decided on a course of action Eric should be under the knife in the very near future. Obviously we are missing his particular brand of humour and everyone at Milton wishes him well and looks forward to his speedy recovery and return to the fold"
